James and Emily Leonard

Our Pastors

James sensed God's call to ministry while attending a youth convention in eighth grade. Since then, he has devoted his life to faithfully following that calling and helping others grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Over the past 20 years, James and his wife, Emily, have served faithfully in churches in Maple Grove, Spring Valley, and, for the last five years, at Liberty Church. Their passion for ministry is rooted in the words of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve. This simple yet powerful truth has shaped the way they live, lead, and love others.

Together, James and Emily are committed to serving people, building real relationships, and inspiring others to make a difference in the world around them.

Their vision for Liberty Church is to be a place where people from all walks of life can gather, grow in their faith, and be equipped to love God and serve others. If you're looking for a church that will encourage, challenge, and support you as you follow Jesus, we'd love for you to come and experience what God is doing at Liberty Church.
